Privacy Policy
Battle Grounds is a web application that simulates fictional matchups between user-chosen characters. It is operated by TigerArm LLC, a Kansas limited liability company (“TigerArm,” “we,” “us”), which is the data controller for any information processed through the app. This page describes what information the app handles and what it does not.
What the app collects
- Matchup inputs you submit. When you tap Simulate, the fighters, arena, weather, and number of rounds you selected are sent to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic to generate the result. The app does not require an account, and submitting a matchup does not create one.
- Contact form, if you use it. The intellectual-property disclaimer modal includes an optional contact form. If you submit it, the email address and message you provide are relayed to the operator via a third-party email service (Resend) for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
-
Theme preference. Your chosen visual theme is stored
locally on your device in your browser’s
localStorage. This value never leaves your device. - Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) retains short-term request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for abuse prevention and reliability, in line with their own policy.
What the app does not collect
- No accounts, no sign-in, no profiles.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers.
- No cookies for tracking or profiling.
- No precise location, contacts, calendar, photos, or device sensors.
- No payment information — the app contains no purchases or ads.
Third parties
- Anthropic — generates the simulated fight results from your matchup input. Subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy.
- Resend — relays the optional contact form. Subject to Resend’s privacy policy.
- Netlify — hosts the application. Subject to Netlify’s privacy policy.
Data retention
TigerArm itself stores no submitted matchups, contact messages, or identifiers on its own infrastructure. Retention by the third parties listed above is governed by their own policies.
Data deletion requests
You can request that TigerArm LLC delete any information Battle Grounds has received from you. To submit a request:
- Open Battle Grounds and tap the “IP & Likenesses” link in the application footer, which opens the in-app contact form.
- In the message field, write “Please delete my data” along with the email address you have previously used to contact us (if any).
- Submit the form. A TigerArm operator will confirm the deletion by email within 30 days.
What gets deleted on request:
- Contact-form messages you have sent us, along with the email address and message body, will be permanently removed from the TigerArm inbox operated by TigerArm LLC.
What is not stored (and therefore has nothing to delete on our end):
- Fight matchup inputs (character names, arena, weather, round count) are forwarded to Anthropic to generate the result and are not retained by TigerArm. Anthropic’s retention of that input is governed by their privacy policy (as of writing, up to 30 days for abuse-prevention purposes).
-
Theme preference (stored on your device in your
browser’s
localStorage) never leaves your device and can be cleared any time by clearing the browser’s site data for Battle Grounds. - Standard server logs retained by our hosting provider (Netlify) are governed by Netlify’s privacy policy and rotate on Netlify’s own short-term schedule.
Children
Battle Grounds is not directed at children under 13. The app depicts fictional and comic-book combat and is intended for a Teen audience and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Effective” date above will be updated. Material changes will be communicated within the app.
Contact
Privacy questions and intellectual-property requests can be sent to TigerArm LLC through the in-app contact form, available from the “IP & Likenesses” link in the application footer. Messages submitted through that form reach a TigerArm operator directly.
